ill check we have hired a private detective to find out more and get us in touch with any family he may have . I hope its not our wynn but it may be . when was the last day he was heard from? he talked to me on dec 10 2006 and said he was starting a new job and he would be back into the sc world soon then he disappeared.

Manny,
I just sent you a PM. My buddy Eric spoke to Wynn right before he disappeared about his new job and all of the work he did for Eric.
I would prefer to think Wynn became a gunn runner and is sitting on a beach basking in the sun drinking mai-tai's with a bunch of nekkit women. Good Luck

Wow....That would be terrible news Manny. Although it would explain as to why he vanished like he did. Talking to Wynn on the phone all those times and dealings with him I would have NEVER guessed he would just bail on us. He was still very involved and excited about his SC and building parts, even though overworked.
Look forward to future news.

This would be the worst news we could get. Wynn's a hell of a guy, although he would kind of disappear for a while now and then. I know the split with KoKo's was ugly, so I didn't know if he had run into a legal problem or what and might just be laying a bit low. I hope that this turns out to be wrong.

Manny are you saying you found a death certificate with Wynn Carter and Samantha's names? These people are some of my best freinds and I've been very worried about why I can't contact them. His mother is the closest relative and I know exactly where to find her. They stayed with us during the hurricane Rita evacuation. If so I will goto Beamont tommorrow and find out the truth.

I spoke with Wynn many times on the phone, He seemed like a great guy and he was quite entertaining. He was the type of guy who would keep you on the phone for hours and everytime you would start to say goodbye he would bring up a new topic. This guy was and still is an asset to the SC community
I find It hard to believe that there is NOONE active on this board anymore that knows Wynn. He was a likeable guy with many friends and few if any enemys.
Ok I see Vernon has stepped up to the plate
I hope you bring good news to us all
I pray for you Wynn

the couple of times I bought parts from him we would finish our parts talk then procede to talk about everything under the sun...lol He fabricated some top notch stuff and was always finding a way to improve a part and not rip you off with some outrageous price... I too pray for Wynn

yes we were doing a check on a pay to find site and they sent me some names that matched and one was for a wynn carter and a beaumont texas news artical about a accident involving a man and woman a wynncarter and smantha so that got me worried i have a friend in Irving that made a trip to Kokos but he was treated like a U.S. soldier at a talaban meeting.
Im in so calif and its hard to get any info but what i did get scares me .
man i hope he is just in jail for wrestling midgets or runnin moonshine.
or maybe on a oil derick out in the gulf. please let me know what you find out .
I really did like this texas tornado Wynn. if you get info call me

Well after a quick search under Wynn's username for Key word SAM or Samantha I found this...In case there was any question to the name of Wynn's girlfriend.
Don't forget, SLOW TRUCKS NEED LOVE TOO!
Oh, did I tell ya Sam got a Pearl White '89 Maxima? And of course she's already mentionin' how she now has a V6 and how peppy it is and how comfortable the ride is and on & on & on...
I took some measurements the other day on the radiator support brackets, gonna do some billet versions and pimp her ride with 'em. She swears the car is a screamer so watch out, the MAXIPAD might be lookin' to do a tango with EL DUDDLO, says she'll give ya the back tires on a pro tree
'bird
Not jumping to conclusions but it seems pretty clear to me with all that is already known.
Sadd...VERY Sadd:(

He definitely had a huge case of southern hospitality.

Let me say that it appears Wynn and Sam are fine. After some reasearch by Jeff Garza, a call to Koko's by my GF and reports from two of the Houston area guys I think this is a false alarm. He has been eye witness as soon as a week ago in Beamont, in Houston 2-3 weeks ago, and posting on another forum 3 days ago.
Manny, I've been through this with you in the past so you know I won't believe you.

This is what I’ve read recently:
He decided to leave KoKo’s and seek other opportunities.
He was told to clean out of KoKo's shop and things are real tight for him.
He’s unemployed.
He’s been dead for months.
He was seen last month.
His phone number still works. I though it had the same recording attached to it as it did last year but my brain is a black hole lately. You would think that if it was his leased phone number (which is listed under his name) and he and his women died, the phone would become disconnect for a period of time.

I don't know why anyone is surprised...Wynn has been doing this dissapearing stuff for several years. I'm sure if there had been an accident one of the Houston area guys would have know about it. He probably just needed a change.

Not saying it's right, but it's happened many times in the past. Just do a search on "Wynn" and you'll see lots of post about no contact from him.

Wynn hasn't done a damn thing. He's gotten out and that's it, nothing has changed or surprised me there.
Manny has made up another story to attract attention to himself because he's physcologically ill. I don't know why anyone would be surprised about that either, he's been doing it for years and a search would prove it.
The only reason I even cared is because he told me that a dear freind I haven't heard from in a while was killed. From the first second I had doubts because it was Manny but due to my friendship with Wynn and Sam I wasted no time finding out the truth.
I'll shut up Manny as I could care less. (Removed by Admin)

I’ve always said that you make your own luck. What he’s done is what one would call "self destructive behavior". At some point he'll regret it because typically the things you do always come back to you and typically do when you least expect it.

Great to hear he's alive. I hope he's doing well and is working. Knowing that he's still around, he should get the certified letter that I sent to him two days ago and I'm hoping that he'll respond with either an accepable explaination and/or the services or refund otherwise Detective J. Curl of the Beaumont Police Department might be paying him a visit with a subpoena.

Manny, I hope you get your money back from that private detective. I did the following for free, and it should bring you closer to his path.
A whois into his website turned up what we already know. His phone number, location, name, G/F's name turned up nothing. Just archived SCCoA posts.
http://www.aboutus.org/TexasThunderBirds.com
Next I went looking for local clubs he belonged too meaning the Thunderbird's of Texas. The local forums on the SCCoA is dead so I went over to the TCCoA. People claimed to have seen Wynn lately.
http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=61646&page=358
Using the information Mr.Wolf posted I went onto ar15.com but the website is the worst design I have ever seen. Using google again I searched for 'ar15.com wynn' and sure enough I got a archive hit which verifys Mr.Wolfs claim that Wynn was present at a gun build.
http://jobrelatedstuff.com/lite/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=273640&page=7
Next I went to the live ar15.com site and went to the local community forums
http://www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=8&f=8
From there I got bored. I do not know what Wynns user name is but everything points to him being active. rickbtbird, he owes you money. Maybe you should make a post over there and add some pressure to him. The fact he ripped a ton of good people off makes my blood boil.
