i just got in the mail one of these Nitro Performance Chip modules. i wanted to see the feedback that everyone had on them or if anyone has them. it looks impressive but what company wouldnt do that to sell their product. But, i was just seeing what info and feedback i can get. it sounds liek it messes with the MAF sensor from the directions. then i was looknig threw the feedback someone with an SC said it mostly sucked to shorten it up.
I'd app. all the info i can get on this think

What You Can Expect from your new Nitro Box Module:
30-35+ Horsepower (Trucks average 40+)
Increase Torque 33+/Ft pounds (Also increases low end torque for towing)
Increased Acceleration ( Faster 0-60 Times, Higher Top end speeds)
Faster Throttle Response ( Faster short track and 1/4 mile times)
2-5 miles per gallon saved ( Better fuel efficiency)
Smoother shifting (Automatic power train only)
Hell I would have flushed a couple of hundred dollar bill's down the toilet for that kind of performance increase.....for both SC's....if it were true.

Now how does everyone know its crap. Who here ( in their right mind or not) has tried it. I am sure it wont work with mods because of the tune needed but how does anyone know it wont work aside from the bogus gains.

Yes, these resistors usually change the MAF voltage, to make the engine run leaner. It will give you a small increase in power, maybe 5 horses or so. But without being able to properly monitor your Air/fuel ratio, you could run the risk of running too lean and causing damage to your engine, like burning a hole in a piston. Im not saying it wont work with your car, but it wasnt really made or tested specifically for the SC .. you could have gone to Radio shack and bought a resistor for 25 cents if you wanted to ruin your car. Id look at the colors on the resistor and see what the actual voltage drop is going to be with this box .. the MAF only operates at 0-5 volts, so it doesnt take much resistance to change that drastically.
