i cant believe nobody will buy this car, im asking 2000 for a car with a $4000 paintjob a good transmission, good rear end, new tires, good suspension, audio system and a motor that has some sort of issue
hell its a perfect rolling chassis for swapping a better motor into or even a v8

thats the problem damon the motor in the car must have been built on a friday afternoon its been nothing but problems and if it was replaced it would be a nice car
ive been patient with it for 3 years now and ive only put a little over 4000 miles on it in that time
yes shane a 5.0 would be nice if i felt like spending a few thousand on it but ive already done that trying to keep the motor running

Jim,
It might just be me but I think you might be disappointed with what someone might give you for your SC.
If you are worried about spending a ton of money on it just find a stock motor to put in it and be done with it. But if you are hell bent on selling it I think its going to have to run to get close to what you want for it. Just my opinion.

Whatever happened to not wanting to spend any money on it? You could do the V8 swap for pretty cheap especially if you have stuff right now that you could sell to gain funds for the project. A good simple carb'ed 302 with GT40P heads could easily make 300HP How much you going to put into that '95 motor? I bet it will be more then buying this complete '98 Mountaineer thats sitting here at my work that has a 5.0L in it and its got the GT40P's already on it. Especially since the entire mountaineer is $400. Think of all the stuff that you could sell off it.

I'll say it again, let my car help you decide if you want to do the V8 swap or not. Just wait a few more days for the shootout and you will get to see it.

it may seem like its cheaper until you factor in changing to a upgraded fuel system

What upgraded fuel system are you talking about
Unless you are going big inch stroker or forced induction the stock fuel system is plent. I'm running the factory fuel pump and lines on my car. Just get the correct return style fuel pressure regulator and you'll be set. You'll have maybe $200 or less wrapped in the entire fuel system.
