Seems that I have been busy doing other projects. My sister-in-laws boyfriend I found out is a motor head. Ever since the day I found that out I have been helping him with stuff (actually he schools me, but occasionally the teacher becomes the student...)
He has a 1995 Mustang GT Convertable. This is his daily driver and he plans to still drive it every day. Cobra wheels and a KenneBell supercharger http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/mustang50/mustang50.htm He has been running the SC for a while now and popped a gasket several months back. He was running 9psi pully on it, but has ordered the 6psi for it to use on the Stroker. Since the car was down he decided it was a good time to do an overhaul. We started by rebuilding his T5 in it. That was quite intimidating for me, but now that I have been in one and actually understand the inner workings of it, I am no longer scared. That took us about a week of working in the evenings. Turned out pretty good. It now has new synchros/bearings throughout, and hopefully all is well with it.
Now it was time for the fun part. We had a Shortblock from DSS Racing http://www.dssracing.com/newsuperbullet.htm

Is one pretty sweet looking block. 331 Stroker. Not sure on his Cam specs, but it is the one he was running before. He also got the reinforced main brace on it:

Tonight we got it assembled as far as the oil pan on it (Bought one from DSS, but when it arrived it was 3/4" out of square for some reason, so he sent it back and got one from Summit). Heads have been on for a few days already, ARP hardware throughout. We stopped tonight because we ran into an issue with his new Balancer. When he bought it they didn't tell him he was going to need an adapter to fit the crank pully on it, so we stopped there and put on his Cobra intake and test fitted the Kenne Bell on it. We need to do some more research in that area, as he needed to upgrade the Fuel Pressure Regulator. The stock one fit fine under the SC, but the aftermarket one does not fit under there at all. We need to find a low profile Adjustable FPR. I forogt My camera tonight, but tomorrow I'll snap some more assembly pics.
