Fuel rail pressure

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if I should get an adjustable regulator to take my stock fuel pressure to 42psi from the 38psi I believe the stock has. The reason being is I'm throwing on a 94 mild ported blower on the car with the stock 90 pully so to help prevent leaning out at WOT I thought I could help prevent that while still using the stock 30# injectors.

The car has a 255lph fuel pump on it so supply isn't an issue for 42psi.

Thoughts?

Might as well do it. Without being sure what your air fuel ratio is, it certainly can't hurt to throw that dart at the wall.

Considering the location of the reg, it hasn't made a lot of sense to get an adjustable if it can't be adjusted easily. I've searched for an adaptor to relocate the FPR but couldn't find one. The fuel rail does have press-on flexible tubing on both sides of the FPR that can be extended with Aeroqip FC332-4 AQP tubing and the reg can be moved near the brake booster. Probably will have to remove the blower to get access.
