Question to all you 2007 Shootout long haul travelers

"2007 Shootout"

How many of you are comming from close to Navada traveling to Xenia Ohio? My total travel time is 33hrs and 23min with total miles 2291.57 my main concern is our longest stretch 1-80 East going through Cheyenne Wyoming, Nibraska 1054.6 miles any Emergency number to contact or anyone els going 1-80 east maybe meet up along the way?

I got the Silver Bullet back from Baca's race shop this past weekend sounds a lot better with new tune changed out two bad injectors switched to new fuel regulator got my new RCD 35% overdrive Cogged pulleys. All in all we are ready cant waite to meet all the great SCer's all at one place at one time hope you all have a safe travel to the shootout and back home

What fuel are you going to be running? What PSI is it pumping out at 35% OD.
Thats a long drive. I hope you make it safe.

Ken Wagner and Michael Menke are from Nebraska, those are the only people out that way who are coming that I know of.

Thank You

We are just three California Hot Rodders going across states to get to the Big Go Showdown. I got the car on kill for this event it was getting 19.5lbs of boost with CMRE 15% overdrive now its at 25lbs of boost with RCD 35% overdrive. My Mooningham JRD M-90 blower works much better with more overdrive plus the double IC helps this setup work. This car is 11.1 compession with 25lbs of boost open header car its loud as hell and with the RCD Cogged setup its got a real high pitch blower whine. Its a full weight non-Nitrous heavy weight I am bringing VP MS 109 race fuel with me to run

ohh boy..I cant wait to hear all the results..Seriously

There will be no pictures or print out's posted of the final results of
this years shootout.

You will need to be there, to know one damm thing about the race,
dyno shootout, car show,burn-out contest, beer parties, lot lizards,
, Banquet, or final race results!!

Randy :)

What Ken said. :D

You better get your registration in, tomorrow is the deadline for getting a t-shirt with your registration.

Once you get past Wyoming and Nebraska, you shouldn't have any worries. There are exits every 20-30 miles and most have gas stations.

Here are the 2 main truck stops in Des Moines:

Here is a link to the Iowa Dot website that shows all of the rest stops in Iowa. They even have free wireless internet now.
