anyone know if the correct engine displacement for our cars is 308.965 cid. this doesn't look right to me. i did a read on the factory program and this is the value that was set. i thinking why is it not 231 cid? anyone know the answer to this.

Sometimes in order to get the engine's "load" factor right because of some limiting factor within the EEC, tuner's will change the engine displacment factor BUT then a lot of other settings need to be "scaled" by the same percentage amount to keep everything in perspective.

It is a 232 cid engine. I do not know this for a fact, but I would venture to say that since our engines are supercharged they have a higher volumetric efficeincy than that of na 232s. With them being EFI, they would be near or past 85% (running at best). Now, since 232 is roughly 75% of 308, I have to wonder if there is a 10% correction factor to make it safe. Of course, this is all just my speculation.
