Not new to SC ownership, but this one I'm actually going to keep:) I've been parting out SC's for about 3 years, but this car was purchased as a keeper. Too clean to part out....just needs some mechanical attention.
Here are the pics...

Nice Todd. I like the 93+ wheels on it. I need to get a set for my SC for some 255 drag radials and 255 fronts for street use.
Glad to see you are going to keep one.
Still have your 97?

Scott,
No, the 96 was sold back in 2005 to a guy in San Francisco. It was just recently sold to a guy in Washington.

that is a clean SC. free of rust also ?
i absolutely dispise the red interior they threw in SC's or any tbird/cougar.
my cousin has a 94 LX V8. its that dark red color with red cloth interior. looks ok, i guess it matches the outside.
but putting that red in a black, white or silver car ? ugh ! it totally contrasts the outside. looks terrible. just my opinion tho :)

Rust free.
I like the red and I wish it was porno red. To each his own.

It looks better then the 91 auto I picked up but this one has a good drive train but bad paint and seats. Any plans for it yet? Mark

rebuild the motor since it's making bottom end noise. I want to get it to the 2008 shootout, but it will be mostly stock at that time. I will be putting a 94/95 blower on the car if all goes as planned.
Thanks,
Todd

It looks good except the red interior but as long as you like it it's all good.
Finally a keeper :D

I had a 73 grand prix black with whore red and I got used to it. Infact the ladies liked it. Its all in what you like but Ill take the boring grey and black & while Todds out living it up in his white and red:D I finally fixed my welded in window motor problem, had to replace the door:eek:

Not driving it yet. I need to start the engine swap sometime soon. The engine in the car is bad. I'm going to yank the 90 longblock and install a 94 longblock.
I tried to sell the 94 engine on Ebay but noone bid. Now, I'm going to start the swap and sell off a lot of the 90 parts. I plan to put a 94/95 blower on the car and add a few small things.

Mark, did you buy parts off a guy down in Frankfort recently?

Yep, it was a 94 Florida car had no rust. It was the front end I was looking for. I will be needing some other parts this winter so I will keep you in mind. Let me know if you come across any hp parts you want to part with. Mark

Mark, I was surprised how good the body was on that car. Too bad it was parted out.

That will make for a nice upgrade. As long as its apart you should have the crank polished and install some new bearings and maybe a 89 cam shaft. That 94 in Frankfort was a car from Florida and not one speck of rust. It was a real shame it was parted. I wanted to buy what was left but im not into total reconstuction. Be sure to get a MPX as soon as you can as they might not be avaiable soon:eek: Im going to need to beg, borrow or steal to get the money I need for it but I feel the need for speed again:D

Well, The verdict on the engine from the car is in....bad bearings probably resulting from cylinder 3 & 4 having blown the head gasket.
Attempted to get the 95 engine into the car this weekend, but the flexplate was knarled up pretty bad. Need one of those and another half a day in the garage to get back on track.
SLOW PROGRESS! I can't believe how long it's been and how little I've done.
