Another Dying Bird

Help............ I just got my bird running after a 2 year rebuilding project.

It runs great, however, the engine tends to die when the brakes are applied, espically under very hard or long braking. I have searched the other threads relating to idle problems. Could it be the IAC Valve that is causing this problem??? Does anyone have any other sugestions ?????

Will the car idle well when standing still in neutral and in gear? I would think that removes the IAC from things. Unless the IAC is dirty and is slow to respond to changes.

What changes when breaking? (rhetorical)

Weight distribution. The fuel moves in the tank.

I would highly recommend hooking up a remote fuel pressure gauge and watching it on deceleration.

Could it be that something is shifting in the tank blocking off the fuel pickup?
