I have forsale a used spec stage 2 clutch has maybe 6000 miles on it never been used at the track and all most all the driving has been highway. Still looks new. Will add pics tomorrow. Asking 175 + shipping.
Normally I wouldnt do this... im not doing it because of your price, 175$ isnt bad, but more because of the mileage discrepancy..

"If you want I have a spec stage 2 I will sell you has about 7000 miles on it. will let it go for ---$"
Unless you had two of these used to sell in the last month, it seems like you might be low balling the miles.
Just a heads up to potential buyers.

...........
no need to start anything. I have nothing against him and as ai said the price isnt bad. I was searching for "spec stage 3 clutch" and found that other post by him. As far as why post in another ad? Personally if I was buying something id want the information in the ad to be factual. Id be worried if you dont.
*edited out the asking price in quote if that makes you feel any better.. again it was just the mileage discrepancy I was noting.

As for the miles i'm not a 100%sure it's just a guess. but I know it's no more then 6000 to 7000 thats forsure
Like I said it looks just like it did when I put it in. At the time of the other post I did not have it removed to see what it looks like.

thats a very valid response. Thank you! I tried buying one of these this afternoon with the aluminum flywheel in the other thread so am semi interested which is why i posted..
Why are you swapping it out? Did you go with a stage 3? How was the driveability in your car with the stage 2?
Frdlvr you are correct he had a valid reason which is what I was looking for.. its funny how you seem to be the only one upset here.. perhaps you should take your own advice and mind your own as well? As far as being a member or non member, it was still about just knowing the facts of what you are buying and I think any member would want to know the facts of what they are buying. Thanks again frdlvr and have a good night.. Mileage on a used "wearable" part matters to me and im a potential buyer, thats all that matters.

I'm not going to BS here I'm selling it because the peddle was to hevey for me when doing city driving and I happen to do that a lot on the way to work.

thanks for the info Jason. Valid point for those of us who use our SC's as daily drivers. That's more important than the milage to me.

Except for the heavy pedal, how's the engagement? Easy or tough to get moving at low R's?

Nick,
engagement was good not a problem with it at all. Now I did need to shim my slave since my flywheel was machined. Getting going at low rpm's was not a problem.
