die ebay and your headlights(pics)

So my new headlights came today....yepeeeeeeeee right. So I install them and shut the hood and take a few steps back to look at my masterpiece:cool: The difference made my car look new. Now I shut the garage doors and killed the lights, reached through the window and pulled the knob. My dirty hands shook of anger:mad:

I told them I was tellin my mommy:eek: I was actually very fair and demamded they next day air me a new pair and that once I see that they are ok, I will ship the bad ones back with the prepaid shipping label I demanded. Plus I said if it all goes well I wont mention any of it and leave good feedback. I doubt it goes like I want:rolleyes:

if there is one thing i have learned from my years in dealing with eBay sellers, is thay they will do ANYTHING if you threaten a negative feedback lol. Those guys hate when they get a negative feedback!!!

I'm confused with whats wrong with your headlights. Is it just that they are cloudy or to thick and light cant make it threw :confused:

Mine just had that ugly yellow lense and slightly foggy lenses. these look great from outside. I could see little hanging mirror things when I looked through the bulb hole and Im guessing one is out of wack. The package was unharmed so I think one is defective.

Turns out the pattern in the lense is different and is scattering the light in all directions. And the seller will not replace them unless I pay shipping. And even If I do theres no way to tell if the pattern will be right on the new ones.

I picked up an almost new set from a local sc'r in the summer, and my car went from what you have on the right to both showing what the left is. At first I thought the light bulbs had been reversed but not so.

I had a friend drive towards me at night, and he said there was no issue with blinding him so they stayed.... its not like I drive much at night anymore anyways ;)

I wouldnt care if they matched, but from outside one looks dim and the other looks bright.

I don't see why you are saying Die Ebay. It's not like Ebay is the one manufacturing or selling the lights. They only provide a service for a seller to list their items for sale.

It looks like you need to level them as well. What the seller will probably do is sell those ones to the next guy who orders some.

I'd back up a bit and see how the pattern looks from 20 ft or so. They might intentionally be different from side to side.
