Saw your post over on the HAMB as well. Anyone end up going to this?

I would like to make it down next year with one my cars, probably my Cougar. My best friend's sister-in-law lives in Charlotte, so we might be able to stay over there, save the hotel costs anyway.

I made it to Maxton for Saturdays run,it was a good show.
They had a wide range of cars, and a sleuth of motorcycles.
If you go to one of these Land Speed Race events, you WILL be back to race.
At Bonneville they call it SALT FEVER--at Maxton it must be CEMENT FEVER.
