Slower not faster! At the shoot out my car didnt act right Missing over 5800 so I shifted at 5500 and got a 12.52. Today with the Sly Super Blower @ 31% overdrive I did 12.9 engine cutting out at 5000. Sometime I could kick myself. Iam making so much boost its blowing the plugs out. Iam going to get some Autolite racing plugs and gap them at 30 not 42 like they are now. I still beat a mustang Cobra so bad out of the hole he didnt catch me.:D Its a learning process. I know this car will do 11 before the year is over. By the way does anyone have a alternator tensoner I need one the setup I have now keeps blowing the alternator belt off.:mad:

How much boost ? Are you sure your not triggering the knock sensor, like I did when I tried using a smaller blower pulley at the Shootout ?

Well if the plugs dont work i can pull that plug and take a couple of dergees of timing out. Dave I need to get a real boost gauge then I will know. This is the same thing that happened at the shootout now its at a lower rpm.

I have always had that issue when my plugs were worn. Curious to see what they look like

I'd check the plugs first. After the new plugs, you can unplug the knock sensor.... use caution.

This blower screams on my car.:D I should have a real boost gauge this weekend. Its all trial and error. If i get the added power Iam looking for, well will see. I still have the front suspension to change and a little dash board lightening. Nitrous only if i can steal a kit.

I got my kit on ebay for $305.00 shipped. It retailed for $479.95 and it was only used for a few months before the guy blew up his engine and parted out his car.

Tim, what valve springs are in the car? Mine where to week and I would blow the valves off the seats when I got to a certain boost pressure, when I put the mp3 on the car at 25% od it blew them off sooner like you are saying. Felt like a rev limiter, hit 5k and wouldn't go any higher. Something to look into if the plugs don't fix it.

I dont think its the valve springs. They were just changed when Sly did the heads. Wow Sly heads intercooler and Blower. Its a Sly mobile.:D
