This looks really promising! A few ppl over on fordsix.com have used these to tune there turbo cars with sucess! A person could set it up to have the display where the VMM delete panel is and a connection to the datalog port there too... Hmmmmm this looks very interesting.. Would it be worth it on our cars??

"I get a discount if I order more than 1 unit?
For group buys of 10 or more units, there will be a discount of $5 USD for units without display and $7.50 USD discount on units with a display. Shipping will be between $20-$30 for the entire order. Please email me "toalan@14point7.com" for group buys."

JAW is Just Another Wideband reader, there is nothing special about it except the price. JAW features 2 programmable outputs, serial connection, 3 real-time datalogging channels; AFR, RPM, external voltage1,external voltage 2, and sensor temperature, uses the low cost Bosch LSU wideband sensor ($50-$70),

Would this produce useful enough date for a tune? Even having to buy a sensor it seems to be a good deal compared to what the other units cost you.

My father-in-law already has one and if you read you can see where you can add other sensors. Temp, TPS, Air/Fuel, RPM.... etc.... Just download their data logging program and go with it...

The advantage of the Innovate products is their speed and the software. Personally, I would prefer a MAP input for a turbo/supercharger for the datalogs to be meaningful.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use one of the analog outputs to feed the EEC? IE: Can one of the stock sensors be replaced by the Bosch one and then have the JAW simulate the stock sensor on the analog output for the EEC? I'm guessing with a little massaging of the analog out function it should work.

All that to save around $100?

There are other brands besides Innovate you know. Just do some shopping around. :)

Example one, PLX:

I dunno seems like you would normaly spend ALOT more than this setup for somthing that would do datalogging.. ScrapSC is your inlaws setup working well?? Id picked up and AF gauge awhile back as kinda warning device but never installed it because ive heard so much about them being useless for tunning. Seems that i could buy this thing set it up and it would make a mail order tune alot more feasable..

I've installed the program and read through the manual. If it only had 1 more datalog port then I'd be game to try it out.

I'd be looking for at least AFR, RPM, TPS, MAF and ACT for datalogging....
