I was out there on the Black Rock desert last November. I had to do some work at the USG plant in Empire, and of course had all my meals at Bruno's ;) in Gerlach, his world famous Ravioli is... well, world famous

Drove across the desert into the mountains for a tour.

Bruno is one very interesting person to talk to if anyone ever gets out there. He knows all those guys doing the land speed records, and also knows a bunch of other people you wouldn't believe.

Yes he is a nice old fella we where there in 96 when Breedlove crashed and 97 when Thrust went supersonic once in a life time deal. Empire store is the only store within miles of Sparks or Fernley. Love Brono's breakfast we celibrated Thrust SCC thundering record that night at Black Rock Bar the Thrust SSC main headquarters. Andy and Richard where awesome dont think that 763.035mph record will ever be touched not in our life time at least
