So I was driving to Buffalo Wild Wings to meet my fiancee and i'm on an expressway here in the Chicago burbs. I'm moving at what I will call a vigorous pace. That's when I see headlights from a car way behind me ripping through traffic. Wait...are those 2 pairs of lights in the grill? Is that a Mustang? Sure enough, the guy came up next to me giving me the thumbs up on my SC. LOL!! He had a brand new Mustang GT. I guess I ran across someone who actually knew what a SC was! I gave him the thumbs up back. I won't say what happened after that, but we were neck and neck. lol As I hit my exit he gave me the thumbs up again.

I love when that happens. The other day I got my first thumbs up too. I'm 19 so having a full grown man in his 40s on a harley tell me how nice my 'ride' was, made me feel pretty good. Even with the rap playing, that impressed me.

I hear ya, it's nice to be noticed! ;)

That's the first thumbs up I ever got from a mustang owner. Back in 94 when I had a black 90, they used to get mad at me for spanking them! They use to put up different fingers at me! :p

Im 48 and when I see a nice looking bird I give the thumbs up. Last time I had to speed to catch up to this white SC 94-95 and the old couple just looked at me like I was nuts. Oh well we know we drive cool cars;)

I got a nod similar to the thumbs up the other day from a sn95 with a Kenne Bell and a cobra badge (or kenne bell stickers???) It sounded real mean, but I couldn't hear any Kenne bell over my blower whine. We punched it from a 30-40 roll for about 3-5 seconds, he was already a car in front, and he started slowly pullin away:(

Too bad I had worse then normal heat soak from traffic, out of meth in the snow kit, and a trunk full of mustang parts and speakers... I might have had something for em' Dang I'm startin to sound like a ricer:o

Made we wanna blow off the wifes mustang project and hook up the N20 and mount those new DOT slicks to my spare rims and head to the strip.

My first thumbs up was in my first pristine 35th back in 95 or 96 like 1:00AM, I ran accross a 93 cobra an we ran like hell halfway accross Alabama on the way outta town, and I lost OD later on that night with about 50-60K miles on the odometer :( I had no business with a SC at 18. Heck, don't have much business with one now ;)

I knew a guy with a 351C in an 85ish Tbird Turbocoupe a few years older than us wen I was in highschool. THAT ALSO, was a ride!

Oh yeah, well I had a guy in a Cadillac pull beside me at a light not long ago and asked me why my car was blown. I went in to explaining it to him as we waited for the light to turn green. He didn't really seem to know much at all about our cars, but when I was done telling him, he thought it was really cool..;)

Hahahaha!! I lost my OD several times on my first SC. I think it was 93 when I got my first white 90. I didn't know what an AOD was and I was manually shifting it and trying to top it out all the time. I always wondered why the OD wouldn't stay locked. I took it to multistate transmission and they just kept fixing it because it was under warranty. :p I was 21 back then and I was very surprised I didn't kill myself.

I think its cool when someone gives you the nod or thumbs up when I drove my sc. Now I have a stang and everyone knows about them so its not so cool.

Well I got a thumbs up from some dude in a Roush F150 today, he rolled down the window and said, "it's good to see an SC still on the road" and of course I said, "uh, uh, thanks and nice tru......" (light turned green, smoke from both wheels on both vehicles. lol

I was 17 when i got my first SC, like JUST turned 17, was my second car. I tore the hell outta that thing, ended up with blown HG's and was never the same again, 2 XR7s and the 35th I have now later, im still in it. There's always a race or a thumbs up or something when driving one of these things.

i was driving the sc around looking for new stuff for my apartment and i see a fox body stang a few cars ahead of me. When my lane of traffic passed him i got in front of him and at the next light and didnt smoke the tires but i did take off pretty quick, he got on the side of me, exchanged looks and we both hit it, he was ahead of me at the jump and a little sooner jump than i had but i pulled past him and at the light he asked me what i had done to the car, and said it was real nice! I love that stuff!
