Hi All.
I bought the car not running, the previous two owners had failed to fix it.
I replaced the crack dampner, it had cracked at the snout.
It runs a bit rough, it may just need to be run awhile to reset the computer.
It needs the correct length dipstick.
The supercharger front bearing makes noise.
It has fresh oil, 5 gallons of new gas along with dry gas and octane boost.
It currently has ½ tank.
There is rust at the rockers behind the doors.
Otherwise it is straight, a slight dent on the trunk lid.
Paint is good but has a spot on the roof where the clear coat is thinning.
The windshield is cracked and needs replacement.
The console has parts missing.
The stereo wiring has been cut.
And the head lamp switch knob pulls off.
I will soon be inspecting it closer and making a list.
It also needs a good cleaning which I can do if I have time.
I have three others cars to sell and this is the last one I purchased.
I specialize in Gen 1 SHO's but found out I like the XR7 SC's as well.
I purchased this with the intent to resell.
I had a local buyer but he went the Tbird SC route.

Would anyone be interested in parts from this car?
I hate to part it out since it runs and drives.
But it needs to go soon.
Or I've lowered the price to $660.

Here's several more photos.
I haven't had much time to go over the car.
Cold weather set in and I have 3 other vehicles to sell first.
I haven't driven it much except around the block.
As with all my cars, I'd rather sell them complete instead of parting out.
If it goes unsold and I have time to work on it, I will add updates.
For now I'd consider trailering it only.

PA. Gen 1 SHO's huh ? Are you the one who bought green beans *Bandit* or was it bandito ? I know one of you penn. state people got it.
Anyways. How much do you think it would take to make this car run good enough to drive.
Im in FL. But have no trailer at the momment.

I see you stray from the sho forum as well.
No, I didn't buy bandit.
Some one from up north got it, then sold it.
He's close by to area91 and notaurious.
As far as drivable, it may be now.
But I still have not gone over it well enough to say.
Now that warmer weather is approaching I should be able to get to it.
But I need to finish my red 89 SHO and my green 91+ SHO first.
Just too many cars.

Still no interest?
I may end up parting out for my current project.
A 1990 Ranger.
I'd like to use the seats and possibly the dash and column.

I really want another XR-7.....:p
I have an 89 5-speed that was scheduled to be parted out, but now I am thinking of fixing her up....
I would jump on this one like a duck on a june-bug, but it is just too far away....:(

I know what you mean.
I found a rust free bed for my truck down your way.
But I couldn't justify the time or cost to get it.

Dont part it out. Hold on to it til feb. Then I could come down and grab it. And have enough saved to replace the head light, tune up and the other things.
If you happen to have pictures of the rust send me some at ralli_art_lancer@hotmail.com

Sorry, but no trade on the Gen 2 SHO.
I'm into the Gen 1's only and frankly, 6 is enough.
And I need the cash to get my Ranger SHO started.
Here are additional pics to show the typical rust / rust areas.
