Here's a special thread for Jason and Tyler. Post over here all you want about how much quicker your cars will be next year. It's getting old seeing you two flirt about it in every other post. Put it over here so the rest of us don't haveta read or see the dick waving

this thread is completely unnecessary and uncalled for. its NOT an everyday thing... i dont know why i even bother with you guys. this always ~~~~ing happens.

no reason to be a douche about it. if i wanna give jason hell. nor do i have a problem if he does it to me. just ignore my posts.

Now you know how atleast I felt - if not others - when you posted up your 1,000th post thread. Unneccessary and pointless.

I'm going to have the fastest car ever!

I'm changing the 3800 stall converter to 4000 stall!
Then I'm going to buy a forged 4.6 and throw 11 psi at it!!
And I'm going to race Tyler and Jason and beat them both!!

Too bad It'll never happen :( Guess the 5.4 will have to do.

...

ok, my plans then (REALISTICALLY)

-portwork
-intake
-solid stuff, and urethane (recreating the wheelhop reducer kit from mn12perf)
-meth (maybe ryan's way)
-good tune
-cam
-overdrive the poop out of a MP blower.
-upgraded IC

300 rwhp. if i get it, should be a 13 sec slip.

-Rebuild my Transmission.

-non go-fast:
bodywork (to include removing dings and fixing ALL my rust)
single stage paint (it's black, who cares?)
converting my interior to a mocha-ish theme (just not so damn ugly.)
new carpet, headliner, and seat skins (unless i can find tan leather in REALLY good shape)

then, depending on whether i can find an audi for under 10 grand worth buying (ive seen one, but its in california) an economical DD (like a little nissan 240/200/300 or something, as long as it doesnt take 60 BUCKS to fill its tank)

btw, i figured out how much i'll be making after i get back.

1600/mo salary at my current job (12-1300 after tax)
660/mo gi bill for college
200-300/mo for drill pay

i'm gonna stay in the apt i'm in, pay off my debts and start saving until i get out of college, then put a big wad on a house.

things look ok once you finally sit and think about everything, and look at where you're at. :)

Mod list sounds good Tyler. You'll see a good return out of the heads and cam if you pair them up right together. When you get to that point, I'd go wtih Dave Dalke - atleast for the cam.

Look around a bit at some of the guys making 300 RWHP to see what they have and what works and doesn't. You may be able to save yourself a few bucks on some mods that don't help near as much.

Tyler, think about it. Your going to have a whole new different car! Why not just buy the car you want with the mods in place? It will be cheaper in the long run. If you have to do as much as you're saying to make the car the way you want it then you have the wrong car!

there was someone on here selling an mpII case wth gtp rotors and a plenum.. i think having one of those ported, having heads and cam, and all the other stuff would be good. then i can start dreaming BIG

and along with everyhting i listed, of course i'll be doing a good exhaust, bigger injectors, and a new pump.

Pshaw... Melon, I've already got THREE vehicles like that, all have an incredibly efficient drivetrain, and an incredibly strong powerplant that has great potential for even more power by spring/summer. However you have the transmission wrong. Two have close ratio 8-speed transmissions with an upper and lower range. The workhorse of the group has a wide ratio 5 speed transmission also with an upper and lower range. And I assure you, they WILL run circles around all of you.

I have similar models... one puts out 32 hp, the blue one is close to 50.

LOL One of mine is light, nimble, handles the corners well, and accelerates smoothly. Very competive. the other is the SUV of the group. Strong, heavy, equipped to carry loads. ;)

They both die on the road

That's my view on the Huskers :D though it was good to hear when when Tom Osborne came back as an advisor.
