I'd like to find something as follows:

Needs:
1) No more than surface rust if that
2) 5-speed that doesn't grind

Wants:
1) less than 150k miles
2) less than 3k
3) no leaks

Would be nice:
1) Good looking exterior
2) exhaust already sanitized
3) Newer tires

If you see something that fits, give me a yell please. I'm not traveling to BFE for one though ;)

I like the red one tyler posted...

Not looking to buy ASAP unless its from someone you guys know. Might look at the red one tho.

I've got a little bit of tapping to do on the coug's motor, then I'll be more willing to throw around some cash ;)

Yeah, the red one would be the one to check out. For me, the black one that needs work and the owner that needs $$.

I hear ya on that one... I live at home though, and the folks don't like me buying or working on cars.

Yeah and sometimes the city ordanances don't help either. I have too many right now and will probably sell the black one once it's up & running.

Here is the new one I just brought home to the "nest". It took 21 hours of driving over the past 2 days but it was worth it.

I'm selling mine. I have a small problem I'll be working out next weekend, but it's a beauty. I just rebuilt the motor a couple months ago. The motor only has 3,500 miles and the chassis has 97,000 on it. The only thing is, it's automatic. Sorry

Let me know if your interested though. I'm located in Lancaster, PA

The car ran really great coming home, averaged around 27 mpg at 75 mph.
3 for now but the titanium one will either sold off or parted out. If someone wanted to spend the time it could probably be fixed but I want to concentrate on the other 2.

Nice Jim! What's the specs? Manual or Auto? Year? Love that color.

It's a 1990 5 speed and I bought it from the original owner, Thanks Al. He kept ALL the documentation for everything that has been done to the car. I hope to start decoding the ID tags later this week. The paint is shot, especially on the back end. The interior needs some help especially after setting in the Texas sun for 18 years. The one neat thing is it has the aluminum wheel spare in it. I had only seen them in pictures until now.

How did you find it Jim? How many miles? Plans?

SuperCharged91

sinhumane

I found it right here on the forum in the For Sale section. Al Evans from Austin was the owner from day 1. It has 497XX on it now after the trip home. No real plans for it right now. The short list is getting the interior cleaned up, replace some of the blue plastic pieces that are bad, take care of the seats over the winter, open up the exhaust, replace the balancer and then new paint.

I could be wrong but, I thought Jim told me he would have the FIRST EVER Blue full weight 1990 SC in the 9's by next year. He plans to become #1 at next years SC Shootout.
