Ok heres the story...I went to visit my family for thanksgiving. My dad has owned an SC for 5 years now...It was just sitting because Somthing went wrong with the brake master cylinder or somthing. He tried fixing it a couple years ago by replacing it. He is very good at working on cars but not really familiar with forced induction systems. Anyways when he finally gave up on the car it just sat and he was going to sell it as a parts car for really cheap. So I come along and ask him if I can fix it can I keep it? He hesitates and says yes! We start up the motor and the two main problems were: no brakes, and a very rough idle. Right away I notice he dosnt have one of the collers clamped down on the intercooler. I know this is a pressurized part of the system and tighten it. Imediatly the motor starts to pur! Then I asked him to show me the old master cylinder and show me what he did. He then notices a hose coming out of the bottom that he forgot to connect. We connect it and fill the resevoir and now where in bussiness!!! Car fixed; car is mine!:) Im driving it down when I visit for x-mas. it has 130,000 miles on it. It still needs a lot of work and money. The hood is dented and the bumper is a scracthed up non-SC red bumper hiding behind a black bra!!, :confused: UGLY...Also I need to find some front corner lights and possibly head lights. The driver side seat is a little ripped but other than that everything looks really straight and clean. If any body knows were I can get these for cheap...let me know.
