Ok SC'ers, here's a treat. I was going through some old boxes and found a photo of my dad on the test track at Ford. He said that the bird in the picture is a revision of the SC that's about 75% of the way to the final product. You'll notice that the mirrors, rims, side molding, front bumper and headlight lenses are a bit off. The picture was taken back in 1986.
The black and white spots are all about the amount of tilt of the car as it's going into the corner. He said he was "testing" the pack-nuts he was designing that hold the half-shafts to the rear knuckles; but, I think he's smiling pretty big in that shot. I know I would be too.
