I'm having a brain fart, stock forged parts

Crank, unless it is an early 89 with a Duracast crank. Not sure how many 89's actually had a Duracast crank.

So it is safe to say that to spray the living heck out of a motor you would be safe with

stock crank/351 rods/coated pistons

Keep RPM's reasonable and don't let it detonate and it'll be fine. Probably stock rods, freshened up would be good as well.

to late.....they are already in the engine

I wonder how long a stock piston would hold up to spray

Now my concern would be the balance of the motor now that you have changed the rods out, as they do have an affect on that, and you more than likely just made things heavier.

Yes, the rods are forged and the pistons are hyper-eutectic.

People have already made 450rwhp on a stock long block, so you know you're okay for that. You'll figure out what it will take. It's all in the tune.

The fat kids are running race fuel, as well. Comparisons from pump gas to race fuels are refutable.

You misunderstood, sir. Team FKR= Fat Kids Racing= Fat Kids........ That's who I was speaking of.
