A couple of us here in the north Atlanta area are trying to get the SCCoASE going again. What we've been discussing is a Saturday lunch get together at one of the local sports bars, i.e. Hooters on JimmyCarter Blvd. If any locals would be interested please reply and let's get this thing going again.

If we can move it a little bit to the east, then count me in......:p

I'd be up for it sometime. It will just depend on what's going on whenever you guys meet. I'm about 3 hours from Atlanta but will be willing to drive every once in a while. It would be great to get some things going on.

Despite what my profile says I'm in Georgetown, TN. I autocross with the SCCA and we frequently have events in Chattanooga and Trenton, GA. I'd love to see some other SCs show up there, too.

Yeah, I know where Georgetown is, one of my ex's lives there.:D I haven't autocrossed mine but I've run some laps at Road Atlanta as well as drag race it.

Let's try for Saturday or Sunday after New Years for around noon to 1 o'clock at the Hooters on JimmyCarter for lunch to get things kicked off. I actually prefer Sundays myself due to my racing schedule. Once we get going we can move our meetings around. I know we all liked driving up to Chattanooga for Sticky Fingers and go-kart racing at SirGoonies in previous years.

Hey Mike, this is Matt. You might remember me having the 91 XR7.

Anyway, I haven't been on SCCoA in ages, but I am back and interested in doing the SCCoASE events. I just picked up my first SC last week. 1991 navy blue on gray (half cloth half leather) with only 68k original miles for $500. I've only had V8 MN12s in the past and have always wanted a SC for 15 years. Back to the point; lets see what we can get going here and I will do my best to attend.

I would love to make another meet, but just a bit too far for me to go. I made one in Atlanta a couple of years ago, but it is just too far for me :(

Just a reminder everyone. Hooters at 5929 Jimmy Carter Blvd tomorrow, Saturday, at noon. Hooters is on the west side of I-85 not quite a mile from the intersection on the right. I hope to see some of you guys there.

I should be there in the newly acquired faded blue 91SC. I called Rick and Jim and emailed Josh to see if they could go, but haven't heard anything yet.

I may make it. I've got someone coming in from Virginia to pickup my 94, so we will see.

I thought you lived more up towards Dayton area. Georgetown is too close, now that makes me miss the ol Bird even more. I think I've got a spare key, what's your address again. :D:p J/K

I might have to make a trip to one of these meetings to visit and see some SC's again. I've never thought I would misse a car as much as when I got rid of my 94 SC. Even though it was getting to the point that little things were going out and it started to need some constant (weekly it seemed) attention, I still miss the ol bird.

Anyone need a Expedition......

Tim, my 35th is for sale if you'd like to relive the joy of owning an SC.:D

Mike don't forget about this site that Dan started many many years ago.

SCCoSE web site (http://sccose.tripod.com/)

Wow, I had. I didn't realize that it was still up. I wonder if Dan does? He was the only one who had access to that site. I need to call him about it.

I bet he has as well. From the looks of it, it was last updated around 2004.

Had any interest in your 35th? For some reason, I'm a sucker for the 94/95 styling instead of the 89-93, even though I've had one from both "generations".

I've had some. One offer at $2800 I turned down and another guy would have bought it if it were a 5 spd. I'll hang in there with it till get a better price.

We had 5 people attend. I dont think anyone took any pictures as we were focused on boobies and beer most of the time.:D

We may be meeting again next Saturday.

Damn it, Vaughan's email hit my junk email folder. Would have made it.

I'm in next time.

Also, when I finally get a new house, I'll host one. I think they're great with an all day beer, grilling and car stuff.

Then someone can prove either way if I have blown head gaskets or not :)

Mike, you're ALWAYS 3 times their age, boss! :)

Well, let's do it again this Saturday. Same time but at Taco Mac at 3543 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. It's just south of the Pleasant Hill Rd intersection. You can follow Peachtree Ind from I-285 or from I-85 and Pleasant Hill Rd.
Hey Josh, I still have the IC you started to cut 2 years ago. Let me know if you want it back.
Another meet in Chattanooga would be great one weekend.

I will do what I can to attend TacoMac this weekend. The wife had major knee surgery yesterday, so I am having to attend to her needs for a while.

I would love to come to hangout and Matt knows that I am not scared to drive a couple hours into red and black land to a meet. Unfortunately until I get another job my hands are pretty much tied on a Saturday because of work... 10-7pm every Saturday.

When I finish my car up, I would like to drive down towards Atlanta for a get together. I need another month or two though.
