its a 92 sc 5 speed, the odo stopped working at 101k and hes had it for two months. crashed on drivers fender

pros: new paint, new exhaust from the headers back, 10% pulley, he said it was pulling 15lbs of boost, no rust, autometer gauges.

cons: HE CANT FIND THE TITTLE :eek:, but says he'll do a transfer or someting ??, tranny grinds into 2nd, he says when he crashed it , the radiator hose popped off and he saw a lot of smoke from the pipes, says oil is starting to mix with coolant, hasn't started it in two months..

for $600 should i go look at it , or do i keep my POS.

Lets see. crashed, and needs HGs. Sounds like a parts car to me. Your car cannot be in worse shape can it?

I found a 89 sc 5sp with 150k on a local buy here pay here lot nothing wrong except needing suspension for $900. Wife won't let me have 3 t-birds and I can't let my baby go. Keep looking you can find one for about a grand pretty easily and in good shape. These cars are cheap to buy but hard to find. Keep your eyes open.

Here in Fla he can go to the local tag office or a AAA office and get a duplicate title if the car was registered in his name. If it wasnt registered in his name or is unwilling to do this I wouldnt mess with the car. In Florida its almost impossable to get a car that you dont own unless you have a preexisting lean on it. Otherwise its a parts car.

ok change of plans he's gonna junk it , he says i could take the full exhaust from headers back, magnaflow resonator and flowmaster mufflers, the autometer gauges and the 10% pulley for $250 ... sound like a good deal ?

Grab the supercharger and plenum if he's going to junk it even the early style goes for a couple of hundred on ebay, and try to grab the thermostat housing, always good to have a spare.

damn i posted an update last night but i guess it didn't show up.

this is what i got yesterday everything looks new, m90 sc with 10% pulley from scp with plenum, tb, top hat and ic, ac compressor , alternator , dis module, maf sensor, 3 belt tensioners with new pullies, new sc shorter belt, gauge cluster with autometer boost gauge, coil pack, automatic ride computer, misc sensors and relays, forgeting other stuff.

im getting exhaust today, 2.5 into magnaflow hi-flo cats lnto 3 inch union with no res into flowmaster mufflers.

anything else i should grab
