Hi guys,
Something bad is going on in the bottom end of my SC ('93) Probably a rod bearing. I have the engine out, sitting on a stand.
I am trying to decide if I want to buy a long block or rebuild myself with due respect to price and quality. I have a ballpark idea how much a longblock would cost. Does any body out there have recommendations or experience with a machine shop and parts? I am in Annapolis, any reasonable distance from there is OK John

John you should post up this question on mamn12.com it's another website in case you haven't already been on it.It's where most of us guys from DE,MD,VA etc hang out.I'm sure somebody on there can set you up with a good machine shop close to you.
