U-Joints

I'll guess. I believe you either need to drop the exhaust and fuel tank to get the shaft out so the joint can be pressed out, or move the rear carrier out of the way to pull the shaft out.

You will want to mark on the rear diff flange so you can put the shaft back on in the exact same orientation and location.
 
U-Joint

Depending on the tools you have .................use two sockets and a large C clamp and press the u-joint out in the car.

Use the same idea to install the new one.

As a Truck and Tank Mechanic in the Army, we did this trick to save time.
