Melon

So there's 2 on the list... anyone else?

"Well it depends Melon.. when are you thinking about this?" How about a mid to late February meet like last year. Heck, it can be early February for all I care.

Unless someone has a suggestion - it'd be the Smokehouse :D And no, I probably wouldn't have the white car so no worries about getting kicked out haha

But now I may have plans Saturday so a total impulse trip would be out.

I dont know kc very well, so i'll need an address that google can point me to, lol. Unless mike will let me follow him again i guess, haha... dont know if i wanna do 90 the whole way there again though. :)

~~~~, McD's is filling, yo! Damn happy meals are MASSIVE! Plus they always come with a b!tchen toy!
I do 105 on roadtrips in the taurus. 90 is nothing in a cougar lol.
If you get lost in KC, just give me a call. I've got my laptop with me at all times, and run Streets and Trips on it. You'll need to be able to read the signs at an intersection though.
90 is fast in mine, especially with no muffler, its kinda, um LOUD!! lol... i can cruise in the escort no problem at 110. Seriously i love that lil car on road trips, fairly comfy and 40+ mpg :)
and i can read signs just fine thank you.
You guys would hate me on roadtrips - I do 5 over the speed limit, maybe 10.. it depends on what traffic is doing.
Oh, and thought for today... Women aren't cool... and that's all I'm going to say.
HOLY CRAP...I have the EXACT same thoughts today. 5-10 over and I cant stand my wife today. She is SOOOO angry with me (for reasons unknown to anyone). Anyway, there is a better tasting BBQ than Smokehouse. It is a place in Excelsior Springs. It is the BEST tasting I have ever had....but I can not remember the name. I know where it is though:D
I can't make it till the 19th-20th or the 2nd-3rd. But it sounds like a great idea to me....
And lets explore the various other possibilities of places to eat in KC.
And we did not do 90 on that trip up from Joplin.... 73-75 tops. (Well, except when passing of course... :D )
Melon
01-11-2008, 04:02 PM
My speedo must be wayyy off then, lol. My car is incredibly loud at highway speeds, so that may have affected my perception of speed i guess. Sure seems like we made the trip awfully fast, lol. I've got a muffler on it now, so its not so bad. :) I'm seriously thinking of making a trip to the dyno this weekend... depends on if i get my pumpkin changed and it works :)
traveler
01-15-2008, 02:26 PM
Well, I'm not real sure what it is yet. Dad doesn't give real accurate descriptions. (he's a technophobe) So he knows nothing about the computer except it doesn't do what he wants it to, and "extra" windows keep coming up. I know that it has a lot of extra software he doesn't need, "leftover" software from when he had dial-up, etc. I think it just needs a good cleaning (maybe even a format) and of course attempts at educating Dad. He really only uses it for email, etc.
2TonCat
01-15-2008, 02:34 PM
Format = Time consuming = $$$
Cleanup = not that bad.
traveler
Besides, I don't want to lose the software that he has that he should have (I.E. his office package)
Took me over an hour to get to work today! NOT FUNNY!!! 15 miles!
People don't know how to drive in this stuff. If the tires are spinning, DON'T PRESS THE GAS HARDER!!!
Saw several wrecks, a billion stalled cars... absolutely ridiculous.
And if anyone see's an 80's primer Camaro... run him off the road... a-hole!!!
-Joel
2TonCat
01-17-2008, 10:51 AM
Lol, WHICH primer camaro? :rolleyes:
People were checkerboarding the highways I take, only going 45. I was comfortable going faster since there were 2 nice dry strips on every lane...
Woman infront of me at a gas station exit got stuck going up a hill in her little toyota matrix.
3 idiot truckers on front street. One got stuck going up a hill, left it in gear, and got out and looked..... The other 2 wanted to do 2 lane left turns infront of traffic.....
Melon
