I just bought a 91 Super Coupe with blown head gaskets. Hopefully that's all that's really wrong with it, but I can't be sure until I get things apart. So I'm going to be replacing my head gaskets and doing some other upgrades at the same time since I have so much taken apart. The car has 100K miles but the body is in perfect shape. This car will eventually be my daily driver, but not until summer because I am currently leasing a car. I have a truck for snowy days, but the majority of the time I will be driving the T-bird. Basically I want the upgrades to pep up the power a little. I'm hoping for 300 hp at the flywheel not the wheels. I picked this number because I was originally going to buy a new Mustang GT with 300 hp and I decided the T-bird was the cheaper, funner way to get to 300 hp. OK, so here's my list of things to do while I am replacing the head gaskets. Let me know what you guys think:
Mild Porting of heads while taken off car
Fel Pro Head Gaskets
ARP Stud Kit
Solid Rubber motor mounts
Water Pump
Timing Chain and Gears
Headers
Full 2.5" exhaust - No Cats: Resonators-Yes or no?
Cam - recomendations as far as sources/durations/etc? Please...

Feel free to let me know what you think of these things as well as anything else I should be doing. Thanks.
