Put on an aluminum intake! :D I got mine installed today. Although i dont notice a huge improvment in performance, the weight loss is never a bad thing. I'll have pics as soon as i can figure out how to get 'em off my phone onto the 'net. Stay Tuned, lol.

I wish I would have known you were wanting one of those. I wanna step up to an airgap for mine and would have given you a deel.

eh, i got this one on ebay for 35 bucks. It's just a regular 'ol performer RPM, nothing too special, was mainly going for the weight savings and Heat Sink effect. :) Also i was amazed at how clean the intake valley was... I didnt have to scrape anything off at all on the head surfaces or the block surfaces. Just wiped everything off w/ a rag, and that was it. I think my motor is doin pretty well. :D

I think it would look a lot better if you could see the Holley by moving the big orange round thing sitting in front, out of the way.

What the heck is that thing anyway? :D

Its actually red and its an HEI distributor, lol... You can actually see the holley a lil better now than before, cuz it sits a good 2 inches higher than it did, here's what it looked like b4 the new intake... and with the old carter carb you can tell how much lower the carb used to be...

i advanced my timing a lil bit, from 10 to about 12-13... also fixed a vaccuum leak at one of my fittings in the intake, car runs a lot better than it ever has, i think the extra space helps my throttle response a lil bit. I did an accidental wheel spin when i took off after adjusting the timing. :) The car is slowly coming along. :)
