Anyone in the Eastern PA area have an extra, good working order 5-spd?

Let me know, thanks.

If you feel like replacing some synchros, I have one in NJ that needs 2nd and 3rd gear synchros. Give me $50 and come pick it up if you want it, or I could maybe meet you somewhere half-way if you want. Let me know.

I'm not sure what's wrong with mine, and i was exploring the possibility of buying a working used one, over rebuilding right now. thanks

No problem. I did the same thing, and now I have the one that I pulled out of my car sitting at the shop, with no real use for it. I figure if someone can use it, great, but if not I might have it rebuilt eventually.

Any idea what the cost of shipping that trans to 43110 via Greyhound would be? Mine needs shift forks, and nobody makes shift forks for the M5R2 yet that I know of.

Well the problem with greyhound is there aren't any greyhound shipping depots near me. The closest one is in newark, which is about an hour away, and I prefer to avoid going to newark, so the next closest one is about 1.5 hours away. I'll have to get some measurements and then I can see what it would cost to send it via DHL or fedex, but based on having shipped a trans before, I think it was close to $100 to send. Are you in a hurry to get these parts? Cause if you only need the shift forks, I could pull the trans apart and send you just the parts that you need to save on shipping. Only thing is I have a bunch of stuff keeping me busy right now, so it would probably be a couple weeks before I can get around to stripping it down.

That would be AWESOME! I need all of the forks as I was told that aside from the synchro's, that all of my forks were shot.
