Rear lights/reflectors

Ok..........the LED's in my driver's side light finally died.

Is there a source of LED like Radio Shack to open the lights and replace or modify them for new LEDS?

I may try to repair/replace them as mine are in good shape.

I suspect any orginals are soon to die or are damaged as well.

I have thought of using dash light bulbs soldered as a harness and installed using the factory type plug.

Ron, I have not been able to find the kind of LED`s used in our tail lights. Best to find a set or one used and just replace the light. I have one cut open if you would like to see what I mean. Mark

Lights

I've given thoughts to using the small dash lights in them.

Other wise............I'll unplug them both and run with the corner brake/tail lights alone.

They wont work Ron, I have some from my old LX that still work. I can fix yours. Is your mig welder portable cause I have heat. Dont have 220 v in the garage though. Bring your light and welder and we can get some things fixed.

Weld

Hi Mark............Doug's MIG welder is 110 volts. Maybe this weekend if possible? MY arc welder would burn through the sheet metal even at low amps.

Sounds like a plan. Finaly got the green car back from the body shop. She looks good as new now. Sent you a PM. Mark
