the ones that say "police interceptor" anyone know how to get one without ripping it off the cruiser??????

1] Watch your local junk yard for one to come in,2] check your local cab co. as they buy them and use them in their fleets,3] watch the local paper and see when they go up for sale and try for one,4] find someone who has one and get them from him,5] see if you can buy them rigth from Ford...

A good decal shop will be able to make you duplicates. However, you might have to get the pieces made seperately and put them together yourself so it doesn't look to suspicious.

tell them your from a body shop name a big one in your town and say you need one for a squad car your doing collision repair on.

BTW, don't count on being able to peel one of a cruiser without it ripping into a thousand little strips.

I found New INTERCEPTOR badges on E-bay. It's NOT illegal to have them on your car. I've seen both the badges & decals on E-bay. Just search for INTERCEPTOR. BTDT!

They're really easy to find. You can also find supercharged, V8, anything you want. Not hard at all.

Note, the chrome supercharged emblems are available for 10 bucks a piece and V6 and V6 HO is available for 20.

PPI is the place I'd go. They sell the Police Interceptor current one that you're thinking of but they offer about anything else you could want. You can order the stang ones as well. The side window small ones are available, They also carry all the supercharged emblems, turbocharged, 5.8L, SVO, SVT, Cobra's, V6, V6 HO, High Perforance, anything you can think of just about as well as Cobra brake parts, Cobra R parts, they are geared towards mustangs but if its the decals you're looking for it doesn't matter.

The reason I suggested them though is that they seem to be the best price. I found it on page 212 of the August issue of 5.0.
