View Full Version : Oil Pick-up Tube Gasket

Hey does anyone have the part# for the gasket that goes between the oil pick up tube and the engine block the parts stores around here cant seem to find it.Thanks

The ford part number for this gasket is: F2SZ-6626-A.
It's really just a black sheet of paper ( maybe a few sheets thick). No fancy layers, etc.
Cost me $5 bucks. I could not find one at any aftermarket parts store. The Ford manual refers to it as an "oil pump inlet tube gasket".
If I do this job again I will have one in advance, but would not be afraid to substitute a handmade gasket cut out of ( thin ) raw sheet gasket material f necessary. I would Not feel comfortable using rtv alone because the high bolt torque may render rtv non functional for this application.

Thanks alot I'll have to make a trip to the Ford dealer.Yeah I didn't feel right about using just rtv either so I wanted to find the correct gasket.Thanks again
