Please help with code p0443

evaporative emission control system purge control valve circuit malfuction

This is the code I got from my check engine light.
Anyone know what this means? I searched the forums to no avail.
The car runs fine. I erased the code, but it came back on 10 minutes later.

Gasoline fuel vapours (from the fuel tank) are collected in a charcoal-filled canister near the engine. At the right time (usually warm-cruise strategy), the computer will activate this solenoid and allow the engine to draw in the stored vapours to burn them.

The code you are getting is telling you the computer has detected a fault with the control wire to this solenoid. The first step is to locate the solenoid and check the connector for corrosion. If it looks OK, next step is to check for +12V at the connector (ignition key in the ON position).
