What do you guys think? I have a couple of parties interested right now but I am considering just keeping them as I don't have much invested in them. Don't mind the dirt, I haven't had time to clean it since I got it, the first nice day I have off it's getting a bath and heading to the paintless dent repair place to work on that drivers fender.

those look nice and smooth with the wheels and the car practically the same color. i'd say keep 'em. unless you're gonna step up to 18s or somthing that's plated(chrome or nickol).

They're fine.
Car needs a drop and rims need fatter shoes.

I don't think I can go much wider with the tires, can I (255/50/17)? What's the consensous on cutting factory springs, I have a spare set from my 93 parts car?

IMHO.and humble it is, and in discussions I had with three different mechanics, they all agreed that cutting factory springs to lower the car was a bad idea. I did this prior to installing the EIBACHS on the LX, because my son and a number of his friends did the same thing and two of them suffered failures. Not being an expert in metallurgy or the symetry of spring tension, it would seem to me that cutting a spring at an established spring rate for a specific vehicle would somehow compromise the integrity of that peice. I realize that many have done this, with little or no problems, but for the relatively cheap price of a new set of lowering springs, I am just not sure its worth it.
SCP carries VOGTLAND Spring at two lowering heights for $219

Intrax carries for the V8 only as does Suspension Techniques(according to their site)http://www.stsuspensions.com/download/st_shocks_springs.pdf

surprisingly they aren't that bad! I didn't like em on the MarkVIII and if I would have imagined them on an SC I would have pictured something I really didn't like either. But they look much better then I thought they would. Not too bad at all really.
