I'm getting sick of this crap. We're under a "Winter Storm Warning" for an apparent .5 to 1 inch of ICE. Freezing rain sucks ballz. I dont enjoy spending 30 minutes just trying to break through the friggin ice to get in the door and be able to see out the glass... Not to mention its usually really friggin cold. I dont mind driving on it, i just dont like all the other BS that goes along w/ it. The weather cycle around here has been ICE, then 60-70* weather, then tornadoes, then 30's, then snow, then 60's then tornadoes then ice, blah blah blah... and i HATE it when the power goes out. my town sucks so the power likes to go out when there's a threat of lightning anywhere in the 500 mile radius from the town. Dude, you have a 351/5-speed in your cougar and ice on the ground! That sounds like more fun then one person should have. You have to look on the bright side.

Doooooood....Tell me about it. The worst part is that when it is a nice day, I am sleepin from working through the night when the snow/rain (as the case for the last cycle) is pounding down. Then I came home and had to sit with the kids for the day. Rolled the dice and LOST as I woke up today and the Bronco is covered in ice. I have to adjust the carb a bit more and just simply dont wanna do it with the wind blowin up my skirt.

For once, I'm glad I was sick and not going to work :)

I had some luck today. The ice cancelled a workshop I was supposed to go to. But because I didn't go to the workshop, I had to work. Lucky: Didn't have to get out in the snow and ice in the AM. Unlucky: Had to go to work at 3:00 PM. :( And now its coming down snow and Ice again.

Working at a convenience store called Cody's. It's nothin special, but it's a paycheck for now, and will make a good 2nd job when i find a "real" job. Its not too bad as far as jobs go. 3rd shift isnt busy at all, so it gets a little boring, but less stress than 1st or 2nd shift :) I get free fountain drinks while i'm on the clock and i get a 3 cent discount on gas at any Cody's. :) thats the best. They also offer benefits, insurance, 401k and so on. After a 90 day probationary period
EDIT: I actually was on a street corner, in the "ghetto" of springfield all night, lol.

That's cool :D I wasn't sure where you was working - if you had posted it, I missed it. And your right - a paycheck is a paycheck.
