i always wondered if it could be done and there it is
since ford makes the 7.3 v10 why cant somebody beef up the heads and put a heavy bottom end in it with a custom intake manifold for a blower.
and since the 4.6 fits in our cars and that engine is based on the 4.6.
could you make motor mounts and match it up with a 6speed.
how crazy would that be in an sc??:D

try 6.8l....sorry the 7.3 was a diesel replaced by the 6.0l superceded by the 6.4l.

While the bore, stroke and most of the triton V-10 were taken from the mod motor the lower end (crank throw/rod journal) is different, it's takes up more space because of this. Someone's R&D did make a prototype V-10 based off the car Mod motor and was running two ignition box's on it. But they had problems. Haven't heard anything last year or two.
