picked up a new ride on friday. its gonna be for the wife as soon as I get a couple minor kinks worked out
its a 1996 Thunderbird. W/ 4.6
cert and etested for 2200.
was owned by a guy I know from another car club. used to be a for mechaninc but now teaches.
he got it from the dealler he used to work at when it was traded in off of a lease. High k's at 240000, but he commuted for the last 2 years so a good portion is highway.
I need to do some repair to the rockers but thats no biggie.
on kinda big problem i found when doing an oil change is the oil pan is very rusty. and actually had a couple of pin holes in it because of the rust. I did a quick repair with som JB weld, i love that stuff:)
had anyone changed an oil pan on a mn12 4.6 car?
I'm gonna do just trying to decide the best way to go about it.
