I'd be interested ... should have done that years ago on my car, with the abuse it gets.

I'd be interested if they would work for a mark 8.

No kidding Ed. My head is still spinning:D
I'm definitely interested. Make them really strong and a one stop shop to have them welded in.
Also, anybody make a strut tower brace to really complete the package.
Mustang guys are so lucky for that stuff with dozens of places to order these items.
My white one creaks on uneven parking lots but then again its been around the block a few times.
Excellent initiative.

What do these actually do......in terms of handling?

They connect the front & rear subframes so the car doesn't flex. I'm supposed to have a set at my door in a couple of weeks. I can have him make up any kind of brace you like, he will custom build whatever you want, strut towers, rear shock tower braces etc. Just let me know what you'd like to have and I can get pricing.
We'll see what the first set look like and go from there. He's in southern ontario so he may even install for some extra cash if your willing to drive to him. I'll ask about installation and pricing.

As soon as I get them I'll post pics and we can go from there.
He tells me he'll have a full shop set up in april so he can do installs. Pricing pending.

U.S. guys, you're probably best to p.m. Trevor directly to ask if he's interested in shipping these across the border. Because of the weight and size, the shipping would likely be pretty expensive.

One of the biggest advances on new cars is the improvement in frame flex and overall rigidity which is improved up to 900% in some cases. The net result is better handling and significant improvement in ride quality, most noticeable on rough uneven surfaces. So this isn't just for the open track guys. In the past the OEMs designed flex into the frames due to the limited capabilities of their suspensions. That thinking has now gone out the door. Now even several pick-up trucks now have fully boxed frames. Just take any SC over a wavy parking lot (side to side) and you can feel (and sometives hear) the frame twist and flex. They did this even when they were brand new.
The previous generation Mustang had the same issues. Here is the solution provided by Maximum Motorsport. A friend of mine with a termi has had good results with it.

This guy here has built what looks to me as a pretty extreme kit:

Check the post by Tydlwavs and first picture in his post.
Ideally the best solution will be as simple and effective as possible while also keeping the weight down to a minimum. You can't be fast by adding a ton of weight. :)
What do you guys think?

i think that would sell, atleast it would 'cause i'd buy one! that system( and that's what it looks like ) really appears to link up the "stub" frames and locate/brace the rear.
now all we gotta do is get a price for that 'lil bugger :D.

I made a set last year. They connect the front subframes to the rear IRS and rocker. They used the existing brace that goes from the IRS to the rocker. That way they bolt on.

Any updates on this?
Here's a fancy brace I saw at Performance World on a Mustang.
