climate control

Ok guys, everytime i turn my auto climate control to the off position it resets the degrees to 75. I usually keep it at 85 but recently its been going back to 75 what is causing this? It used to stay at 85 everytime i turned it off but now it changes. Thanks for the help guys.

Have you tried the self test to see if there's anything wrong?? just a thought.. I'm slowly looking through that section to see if there's anything about it Changing the temp itself and why it would...

(test if you don't know)
1. ignition on
2. `floor' button pressed
3. Fan on high
4. Press cool and warm buttoms together for 3 seconds...

the display shoudl go black, fan should shut off, and in around 20 seconds a code should be shown...

I had the same problem and i believe that it was a blown fuse.If i remember correctly it was a 5 amp fuse and it was in the fuse box under the hood behind the battery.

Mine did that when a 5 amp constant hot fuse that also shares power with the radio blew. It's in the underhood fuse box.

hmm the fuses are good, and that self testing by 91XR7 didn't do anything.
