Thats awesome I signed up. I couldn't believe it when I saw almost 10000 signatures. Alot of racers in CT would not have thought.

That petition has been around for years and years. I can't even remember how long ago I signed it but my signature number is 4348. What's really sad is I bet that sucker is at least 5 years old and there are ONLY 10K signatures.

My father darn near grew up at that track, I believe it's now a consumer reports test facility. Track still exists but there are a bunch of residences in the area that have killed every effort to reopen as a race track.

The funny thing is though that i have a track an hour from me and there are a lot of places in ct farther than an hour, but still it would be cool to have a track here.
