Hey guys, i just randomly browsed ebay and stumbled on this... It's not perfect, but it's a rare car that runs and drives... It's got a salvage title, not a big deal. Needs a taillight, a windshield, some window motors, and some serious detailing... Tell me what you all think. This thing is thirty miles from my house, too... I'm tryin to decide weather i want this or the dohc, or both... i dunno. I've got 1k bucks in the bank and i was hopin to get an apartment soon... so i'm torn b/w driving 1000 miles to get a car i've never seen (in person) Drive 30 miles to get a possible 350 dollar SC, or get a place. I guess i could do all three... get the SC now. get the Dohc next weekend. Get an apartment in april. I HATE MAKING DECISIONS!!!!!

Dazed and thoroughly confused,
Brad

If it was me - if I knew I'd forsure I'd have the space, then I'd jump on it. It's not a lot of money and could slowly put work in it. I'd hate to see it get parted out since it's already a sorta rare car and a 5spd.

If you can get it for the $300 and can fix it - great. But keep other priorities in mind. The DOHC might be a better car :) You can get a 5spd later.

I'd pass on it.

But your better off with the newer DOHC car. Remember DD! That car has alot more problems than is listed I gaaarunteee! Melon is right in the fact it is a rarer model and worth keeping for the future but, you'll spend more fixing it than the cost of your DOHC car. There are plenty of Xr7 & SC cars just like that one all over the country. Hell I got 2 right now!

That car is just right for...........say.............MIKE!!

come to the dark side..........

Thanks for the replys guys. I think i'll prolly pass on it. I was kinda thinkin what danny said "more wrong w/ it than listed" and i've really psyched myself up on that dohc... It'll prolly cost me more to go pick up the dohc, but oh well. On another note, if anybody else is interested in it, let me know. Ryan? perfect drivetrain donor. :D
