View Full Version : Head gaskets

I'm getting ready to do the head gaskets on my 93 SC. I have read alot about which head gasket to use, but they were in older threads. What is everyone's opinion on this, felpro still they way to?
Next question, how hard on the engine is it to run with blown head gaskets? Its not getting into the oil (i check that everyday), but I also know that it is washing down the cylinder. I plan on not driving it after tomorrow, but it will have at least a weeks of driving (under 100 miles) on it by tomorrow.

Felpro MLS permatorque gaskets and a set of APR studs is what I would suggest. You will need to get the heads resurfaced with as smooth of surface finish as possible.
