Check out the Lounge. You are a member. That is the place for off car related duscussions....but even there the rules for posting still apply as far as profanity, political talk and namecalling etc etc etc. Point being...you can discuss off subject areas.

the reason i sugested is because this is the description for the lounge

<i>"Member’s only forum for discussions of both non-technical and non-car topics. Not an “anything-goes” area, but more of a place for members to discuss other topics of their choosing. Be warned, the same rules apply here as on all the other forums."</i>

And i figured put it in the general so all members could use it!

Members have the closest thing to what you are polling about in the lounge. By not being an anything goes forum we just mean you have to follow the rules like all other forums. Non-automotive topics may and are discussed in the lounge. Heck, we even have a rant in the members SCCoA forum area.

There are NO plans to make a forum in the public area where people can fight, bicker, cuss and call each other names.

All "members" can use any forum in the member's area. It is one small perk for dues paying members.
