always a good turnout.

Not planning on it. While I've got 3 weeks vacation to use this year, I'm not going to run down there every other month for something. I'm using a week in July to go to Minnesota.

When are you coming up here? I keep waiting for you to drive up. Come on up for our Dyno/Tune in May in Lincoln. Hang out with the Nebraska guys again, have a chance to meet Dave Dalke in person, and get your car tuned by a guy who knows what he's doing with a Super Coupe.

I probably won't race either. I was wheelhopping pretty bad when launching hard last time. Don't want to snap something before I even have a motor worth snapping stuff with!

though, it would be pretty hardcore to say I snapped a halfshafts on a hard launch with my 170hp monster :)

I'd rather be able to say that the "high quality shafts from Ford didn't snap until I had over 400 hp going to them!!" :D

travis best was a 15.0 and 15.2


I ran a 14.9/15.2 /15.4 ________ my egr finally crapped out screwing me.

travis beat me on the last run.

we where neck in neck at the 1/8th mile then my car fell on it's face.

plus the ~~~~~~ track prep ,and rain showers.
I and he had a hard time hooking,my 60ft's sucked today.

Have you ever noticed that no matter how Jason runs at the track; the story includes all kinds of excuses for his times? Nothing about whether he enjoyed being there, he had a great time, and rarely (if ever) congrats for those that did well. Just "if only (insert) hadn't gone bad".

considering i have ran a 14.6 @93
before. my car was stumbling if you look at the time's on the run i ran travis we where damn near identical on time all the way to the 1/8th mile
the after that my car started running slower.
dropped from 92mph to 89 in the same day
I really don't care that he beat me 1 run,but am curious why
i ran so bad from one to the next and what's causing it.
I have egr code that popped up today while i was there cause car was running like ~~~~ so i checked it and said low flow and egr not seated,im not useing as exuse i just want to know.

so for know im tearing down the ic and blower to install a list of new parts i have and egr ,hopefully fix all the b,s with it .

week ago same temps i ran 15.1 to 15.2 all day in the 92mph range,

I could see if our 60ft's where drasticly differant but they where not both where 2.2 somethings.

as i gave him my slip cause he threw his away by accident at burger king and must say was mmmm good, I really like the free bbq bruiscuit at the track. I did forget i got info on taylor,aeromotive, I found out also im screwed if manage a high 13 this summer,cause i can't fit in a 3x fire jacket i tried one on that was there for sale.
not even close to fittin. I just hope they can make a 4x maybe 5x like they said could. they didn't know for sure.


yes im happy with my run i have run better before,but am confused on the run's.


1 run got a 2.124 60 with 15.098 at 90.32

then got 2.202 with 14.954 at 92.24

then ran by myself cause chevy truck broke 2.179 with a 15.236 at 89.40

I know this was the first weekend for the new boards and timing
but why in the hell could i run a 2.2 with a 14.9 then turn around and run a quicker 60 and be slower in the 1/4?


oh and both cars where stone cold when we ran also,we even have the exact same mods,only thing really differant is he has 245,000 miles to my 99,000

Your EGR is closed a WOT, if it's working properly if it's sticking open it would be very evident. Your car is not 100% ready to race so this is what you can expect. You can test it for open/close.

Did you see any substantial IC temp differences after you took the powdercoating off?

I did that in 99 & no IR thermometer so its a guess. The paint was very thick.
