Black Ford logo emblem

I'm tempted to swap my stock trunk Ford logo emblem out for one w/black background - what's the general consensus?

Make one and use the $ elsewhere or buy it and have a better looking end result?
 
I covered my ford emblem with a piece of electrical tape. When people ask about it, I say I fixed the problem. Its a good laugh

its fine on the outside aside from the surface rust from being sanded down previously by the last owner and left that way. Under the car is where it was bad.:)
