Thanks for the support Joel! I'm a big boy:rolleyes:

As a Matter of fact to answer your questions
1- Savings, Yes I do in fact I've been working plenty and made good money
2- Age, I'm 19 and she is 18.....Age is not a huge milestone
3- We have been together going on 2 years and it will be over 3 before the wedding THANKS!
4- Education, Yes I graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA, Honors, I did over 50 hrs of unpaid tutoring which entitles me to go to college up there for free.
I took 2 years of Marine Service Technology I have my associates in that. During that time I went to Emergency Service Training Academy and graduated at the top of my class as a nationally certified firefighter. First responder, NIMS compliant and my HAZ-MAT. In June of 2007 I competed at a national competition in Kansas City, MO representing the state of Missouri for Marine Service.. I won that against the USA, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Guam. And NOW I'm going to Spartan College of Aeronautics on a full ride. I'm getting my A&P and also my Pilots license.
www.spartan.edu

As for her....

She just got her 4th year of National Honor Society and got top honors.
She Will be getting her Degree in Fire Engineering...Also on a full ride:rolleyes:
She is also in The fire training academy doing exactly what i did.
She is doing College Calculus and Trig along with nursing and such mostly B.L.S (Basic Life Support)

5. Five year plan, Well we just got our first house! I will be working in Jeff City as an A&P OR I can go back to work at my old job which we specialize in High Performance Engine Design for Marine Applications (offshore)
I could also get a job as a career firefighter.

She will be designing sprinkler systems for major buisnesses.
We also have a farm which currently has 65 head of registered Texas Longhorn....But whos counting!

Im sure We wil do fine but hey
THANKS FOR LOOKING OUT FOR ME!:D

Dude Ry, find something to do. You're going senile in your boredom!

OK bud, most kids your age have no idea what they're getting into. You're 19, she's 18. Teenagers. Kids. You'll know what I mean in about 6 years. You can't drink legally. You aren't even done changing / developing / or even physically growing at that age! Doesn't seem like a good age to make a lifelong descision. But hey what do I know... you obviously have your cows, new house, and high school honors to back you up for the next 50 years of life.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

-Joel

Ryan.. pass the crackpipe, I want a hit :D

Anyway, I'm with Joel on this one - give it another few years. It sounds like you both are fresh out of high school and haven't taken a step into the real world yet. Get a place together, do your thing at college, graduate college, and by that time, you'll be ready to start your life together. I've been out of HS for about 6 years and even I don't feel like I've taken a real step yet.

Not trying to be a dick.. just my advice.

Oh I know - I saw the date was set. But with it being a year away, I'm guessing that alot of plans haven't been set in stone - so if he would take advicee, now is a good time to listen.

But if he wants to be like Jason, and not listen - then it's all good. And I'm willing to bet money that they've already heard quite a bit trying to push them to wait so he won't listen to us :p

Regardless, I do with you two the best Tony :) Even if I think your crazy to get married at that age.

It will be fine.

Just here to hear the kind words from you all:rolleyes:

What do you expect? Your 19, posting that your getting married to someone you've been with for 2 years going on 3. If I was that age, I'd expect it too. But I'm not going to try to talk you out of it because it's your decision, not mine. I may not agree with it, but I won't stop you.

Best of luck to you two Tony! I wouldn't worry about what people are saying about getting married at your age. Hell I got married at 28 and it failed after 4 years. My parents got married when they were 18 and 19, and they still are married, 40+ years. Go figure!

Give the guy a brake! geeze! he is happy and proud and i dont blame him.. Sounds good to me!

My wife and i dated for 2 years got married when i was 20 she was 18.. Didnt have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.. Everyone said it wouldnt last and it would all go to hell bla bla bla.. Neither one of us went to college. No credit.. crappy job.. drove a 1972 ford pickup truck 80 miles a day to get to work bla bla bla.. Anyway now i've been married for almost 8 years have 2 awesome kids, worked my way up to managment. Own a house with a pool, a nice truck, an sc a mustang.. Even have a 30' camper and a big screen tv.. Started out living in a crappy trailer.. Nobody ever co-signed for anything for us we had to build our credit on our own. Everyone thought we would fail but guess what? happier than ever.. Went through some hard times but all it did was make us closer. Now the family members that shunned us before are like 'wow you guys did good for yourself' meanwhile my college graduating cousins that got married later have failed marriages loosing jobs loosing houses etc.. So the best of luck to you. Make an ~~~ out of all those who say its stupid by making it work! And dont let it get you down.

Well congratulations, you're the monority though. There's a reason people tell everyone to wait when they're that young.

Anyway, enough negativity, he's obviously made up his mind. Congratulations and good luck!

im just sayin that man ,your always negative,at least joel did come of as being a jerk about it. They may do something like that.

I talk to tony all the time on chat,he's got a good plan, decent job,

Go back and read Jason. I was trying to say to give it a few more years til they are both done with school. I didn't come up and say "no, you 2 can't get married no matter what blah blah" I have no doubt they love each other and want to be with each other forever.

And if I was being a dick about it, I wouldn't have told them Congrats on it and that I wish them the best.

And you say you aren't looking for a girlfriend... does that mean you want a boyfriend? (yes, I couldn't resist.. you left the door wide open)
