They've told the city that they are closing it in 2 years. They're going to develop the hillside across the way.

Can you imagine how much streetracing there would be if the track closed?

They annoced it will not open and the old owner is now opening a track in arizona

no there not going to arizona they are rebuilding it somewhere else in kc.

I don't know.... I see phrases like "family fun park" and "to relocate" and the like. Doesn't read like an obituary to me.
