5.0L V8 and m90 Eaton?

My friend has thought to install '94-'95 style ported m90 to his 5.0 L engine.

He has ported heads, better exhaust etc.

How much power he can reach with that m90 or would it be better to use some other blower?

His goal is 420rwhp or maybe more...

Any thoughts?

420rwhp....Nahhhhh..BBK used to have a bolt on m90 kit..And I havent coem across a 5.0 with that kit making those numbers.

Maybe you can do some research. Was called the BBK instacharger.

He can make some nice power but I think over 400 will be tough

ld get him there but not much farther even its too small now two m90s like that turbo coupe guy did on a 351 he went mid tens with it

For comparison Allen superchargers puts a ported 94-95 m90 on the 4.6 2 valve and it seems to be worked pretty hard to put 9 psi into that V8 adding about 90 rwhp with an intercooler. The M90 will have the same flow and heat limitations no matter what engine it's bolted to. I would also say that the 420+ rwhp is probably not possible, but with the kind of stump pulling low end torque a nice 5.0 with a M90 would have who cares if it ONLY has 360ish rwhp. I say throw one on there and see where it goes.
