how do i know

i want to buy this thunderbird the guy says its been bored 20 over and has ported intake and blower with new crank rods and piston how do i kno if it really has all that???

Receipts are about the only way to prove the work was done...but those can be faked, so there isn't really any way to tell just by looking at it.

Agreed, but if he'll agree to put the car on a dyno and it makes a fair amount of power over a stock SC it's an indication something is done. But short of tearing down the motor there's no way to tell for sure.
